"We believe that only by listening carefully and responding to the expressions of Nature in our territory can great wines be born. Great because they are true".  Alberto Graci

When Alberto returned from Milan in 2004 to take over the family business, after the death of his grandfather, he was determined to do it his way. His grandfather had grown grapes in Central Sicily, aiming for quantity rather than quality, a sign of the times perhaps!  As a salute to his Sicilian roots, he sold his grandfathers land and purchased vineyards in Mount Etna, on a part of the island where the sun is tempered by altitude. The main property Arcuria, is in Passopisciaro, north east of Etna and of the 18 hectares planted to vineyards, 15 are Nerello Mascalese, from which this fine drop is made.  The Etna Rosso region is famous for its black lava soils and elegant red wines!
