A classic Chianti from the rolling Tuscan hills, this little gem does not disappoint! Originating from the Poliziano estate in the Tuscan village of Montepulciano, it is made largely from the Sangiovese grape. Established in 1961, the estate has forged ahead under the ownership of Dr. Federico Carletti.

Tasting Notes:

A black fruited wine with a wonderful acidity and fine, ripe tannins making it ideal for earlier drinking and the perfect food wine!

What to Eat with it:

An ideal accompaniment for antipasto, pasta dishes, risotto and pizza. Also try it with char-grilled peppers and eggplant, roast rabbit, chicken or Scarmorza (fresh Tuscan cheese) grilled on the open fire. Oh yes please!!
